Obsessed Part Two The Obsessed Series Book 2 edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks

This is a review for all four books in the series. Ivy is a jewellery designer, devastated after she caught her fiancé cheating on her. Jax is wealthy business man with a grudge. They meet at a gallery and then the romance starts. I was invested from the start but it quickly turned to confused and annoyed. Jack was basically a creepy stalker, turning in to a controlling man with multiple personalities. Ivy is naive and quickly persuaded by the first touch. This relationship was so up and down I got exhausted by it. Just like Ivy, you know.. until the next chapter where she was mesmerised by Jax again. I absolutely love this author and I give her a pass since this is her first story.

Obsessed Part Two The Obsessed Series Book 2 edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Well, I thought this story was going to get better but it DIDN'T!!!!! The only reason why I will buy #3 is to finish. I am one of those people that has to finish something EVEN if it is HORRIBLE!!!! Why is this book called "OBSESSED"? I never see it from Jax. I just don't get it. I am so over this book and I have nothing good to say so I will just end this review.
This series was entrapping. I started reading it and actually couldn't stop. It was thrilling all at once. At some points, the characters became a fit frustrating to deal with, but overall, I loved it! I was shocked at how this story played out. I did not once see the twists and turns it was taking! And the title definitely fit into the theme of the book. I would most definitely recommend this to other new age romance readers!
No way do I have to wait 6 days for this next book....

Aside from not know exactly what happened to make ivy trust Jax again I like this story. I wasn't expecting so many twists and turns but Jax constantly leaves me guessing. Does he want ivy really or is he just playing on her trust and innocence? I kinda hate him right now. So, hopefully book three will swing him back from the dark side.
The drama just got good!! Wow I was left with so many holes from book one, those are filled in and now I have new ones!! Wow after the bomb about Liz and Mark in book 1 and the secrecy of Jax in it I didn't think I could get sucked in more but by god I did. Now I'm left wanting all the gory details of Brooke and what will happen with Nathan. Just when Ivy thought she was back on track it all comes to a screeching halt at the end and I'm left with a horrible book hang over. MUST READ THIS SERIES.. REPEAT ONE CLICK NOW!!
Part Two---always the red headed step-child of a trilogy. I think this book, however, was a good as the first. The story moves along nicely.

There was a part of me that wants to love Jax and think he is the knight in shining armor but as I read this book, all I kept thinking was that he was a slimy liar. For a good part of the book, I didn't believe anything he said.

Ivy, oh Ivy--I know you are an artist but please stop the tears. It isn't becoming of a wanna be business woman. I was surprised that she was so adamant about listening to anything negative about Jax--especially considering her past.

Looking forward to Part 3.
Obsessed Part Two continues the saga between Ivy and Jax. After reading it, my first thought was poor Ivy. Can’t the girl ever get a break? If you read my review of the previous installment, you know that I have a few issues with Mr. Jax. He does manage to redeem himself a little in the second part of the story. Don’t get me wrong, he has major control issues, but he tries to be better. The chemistry between Ivy and Jax is palpable. They combust every time they are together. If it was up to chemistry alone, the two of them would live happily ever after never leaving a bed; but we all know that in fictional romance there are just too many complications for that to happen. I am still invested in this tale and can’t wait to read part three.
I am glad it was cheap or I would have requested a refund. The title was deceptive. This was no "50 Shades of Gray". This was a young adult romance that should have been put together as a single novel. Ivy was not a character that I fell in love with. She was not Anastasia Steele. There was no basis for the comparison. The literary world was turned on its ear by the work of Ms James, however, she wrote well, and got paid.

This writer has talent. She needs to focus on character development. Ivy came across as a "dumb blonde" whose cup size matched her IQ. She had a perfectly good father, how did she end up engaged to someone closer to his age?

Jax was no better. Lust does not automatically equal love. This should have been one complete novel. I kept waiting for loose ends to get tied up, and they never did. Liz was a loose end, and the same applied to the other characters who appeared in the first book.

If writers want a loyal fan base, they need to slow down and tell a story that is more than how well they can write sexual encounters. The title did not fulfill my expectations. I am not sure if I will follow this author beyond this series. There is no obsession here, just disappointment.
